How can I Cancel My Event?

We understand that event cancellations happen, and we’re here to help get the word out when they do. If you, unfortunately, have a cancellation follow these steps below.

Q: How do I “Cancel" my Event?

  1. Make sure you’re logged in to the correct user account.

  2. Go to your Event Page by going to the URL directly or finding your event in your company Dashboard.

  3. Click “Cancel Event” at the top right corner of your Event Page

  4. Enter the Cancellation Message.

    1. This message will inform your attendees why the event was cancelled. If you have a reschedule date or a refund plan, this would be a good place to include that information.

  5. Click the button to confirm you want to Cancel this event and then click “Cancel Event”

  6. Your Event will be Cancelled and your message will be displayed at the top of the Event Page

 

Q: What if my ticket page doesn’t say the event is cancelled?

  1. Make sure you’re logged in to the correct user account.

  2. Go to your Event Page and click “edit”

  3. Go to the Event URL and change the ticket URL to:

    1. A post you have on social media you have about the cancellation

    2. OR put in the event URL if you use our cancellation feature.

  4. Click Save
