Signing Up and Cancelling Event RSVP's

Q: How do I sign up for Events?

Depending on the type of a event, there are a few different easy ways to sign up:

  1. RSVP: RSVP's let you immediately sign up for the event and have it added to your RSVP's (more on how to access them below). You’ll know this was successful when you click the RSVP button and it switches to “going”. Generally these are free events hosted natively on Vesta!

  2. Purchase: Purchase means they are selling tickets to an event that you will need to purchase on a 3rd party site. Clicking “purchase” will add it to your RSVP's so you can find it later, mark you “going” so you don’t click purchase again and will be automatically routed you to the ticket sales site.  NOTE: we don’t endorse 3rd party sites linked for ticket sales to our platform and recommend you inspect and research these sites before entering personal information 

  3. Register: Register means it’s a free event but they need you to register in a 3rd party system for the event to attend. Clicking “register”  will add it to your RSVP's so you can find it later, mark you going so you don’t re-register and will also re-route you to the 3rd party sign up site.  NOTE: we don’t endorse 3rd party sites linked for ticket sales to our platform and recommend you inspect and research these sites before entering personal information 

Q: Where do I find my RSVPS?

  1. Emails: When you register for events we will send you an automated email with an “Add to Calendar” button that automatically adds our event to your calendar.

  3. You can also find your events natively in Event Vesta by:

  4. Clicking the menu under your account or profile picture

  5. Clicking “My RSVP's”

  6. This should direct you to a new page where you can find the events you’ve RSVP’d for!

Q: I can’t find the events I’ve signed up for?

  1. Make sure you’re logged in to the correct user account.

  2. Click the menu (under your Account Image or Account)

  3. Click “My RSVPs”

  4. This should take you to a new page with your RSVPs! - below you will find other popular events

  5. What if you don’t see “My RSVPs”?

  6. This means your in our Event Creator View. To switch views

  7. Click the menu (under your Account Image or Account)

  8. Click “Switch the Event View”

  9. Click the menu a second time

  10. Click “My RSVPs”

  11. Need to get back to your Organizations? Click the menu and then “Switch to Creator View” 

Q: I accidentally signed up for an event I don’t want to go to. Help!

No problem! There are a number of ways to solve this.

Through My RSVP's

  1. Go the My RSVP's page (directions how are here)

  2. Click on the “Going” button

  3. This will cancel your RSVP

On the Home Page or Search Page

  1. On the http://eventvesta.com home page or search page search for or scroll to the event

  2. Click on the “Going” button

  3. This will cancel your RSVP

On the event detail page

  1. Get to the details page by clicking “The Details” or going to the URL for the event directly

  2. Click “Cancel my RSVP” on the right side of the page (on desktop) or at the bottom (on mobile)

If you purchased tickets to an event or registered for an event on a 3rd party site you will need to coordinate with those event organizers or sites to have your purchased tickets refunded or cancelled (under the terms of their service agreement) or registration cancelled.
